Every showroom brought something fresh — bolder patterns, unexpected accents, and a major focus on texture. From natural, organic finishes to nostalgic comfort and artisan-crafted details, the design stories were deeply personal and undeniably beautiful.

We saw classic forms reimagined, thoughtful nods to wellness, and spaces designed to make you feel something. Tech met tradition in the most seamless ways, with sustainability and authenticity at the core of so many collections.

Grounding color palettes made you want to exhale and stay a while... and don’t even get me started on the lighting — innovative, sculptural, and full of intention.

The final outcome of @partnersinbuild Republic Grand Ranch model is everything I had hoped it would be! Situated on an acre, lot, nestled in the trees, the richness of the board and batten siding contrasting the lighter stone….perfection!

How did we get here? From initial concepts, material selection, renderings, to completion. I could have gone with the classic white board and batten, but immediately envisioned this house as moody and with a commanding presence. @benjaminmoore Kendall Charcoal was my first decision, then everything else fell into place. @rockmaterials stone, @pellawindows and @sclmetalworks stunning front doors, capped off with accents of natural wood to tie into the surroundings.

I could look at this house every day and never grow tired of it….

Warm, deep green walls in @sherwinwilliams Night Owl contrast the light wood floors. Black accents add a masculine touch, but the natural materials of the rug and side chairs add softness. The room is finished with the @capitalltg Jude fixture in the most gorgeous brass finish.

Every detail was determined before construction even began, and although we made slight adjustments along the way, it made for a seamless install and a warm, inviting space to work and create.

I specify their fixtures regularly so to have the opportunity to touch and feel on their new releases and see their finishes up close was immensely helpful. Plus, hearing their processes of designing and learning from their creative teams was invaluable.

The cooktop wall of this kitchen wasn’t very long, so I wanted to add a pop of contrast with the face frames of the tower cabinets on either end. They tie in beautifully with the shiplap vent hood and barndoor. The natural stone countertops add warmth to the space and the subtle texture of the stone backsplash helps tie it all together.

Hey y’all! I am so happy you’re here!
I’m Maggie…a Houston, Texas based Registered Interior Designer and the Design Manager for Partners in Building.

With a strong focus on authenticity and timeless design, I bring my 20+ years of experience in the residential design industry to each project that I work on. I possess an innate desire for creating thoughtful interiors and can masterfully layer color, texture, and pattern, to blend the traditional with the unexpected.

I utilize my extensive travel experience, my love of natural materials and textures, and my foundation in architectural design to create one-of-a-kind spaces that are sophisticated yet approachable. I believe that creativity, collaboration, and communication are vital to the success of any team, and I love the challenges that arise in the ever-evolving design world.

I graduated from Texas State with a B.S. in Interior Design with minors in Art and Technology. As Design Manager for @partnersinbuild, I am lucky to lead our team of talented designers and to oversee our Houston model home and showcase projects. I’ve been with Partners in Building for 18 years and get to work on some pretty amazing projects. Have I mentioned that I love what I do??

Hey y’all! I am so happy you’re here!
I’m Maggie…a Houston, Texas based Registered Interior Designer and the Design Manager for Partners in Building.

With a strong focus on authenticity and timeless design, I bring my 20+ years of experience in the residential design industry to each project that I work on. I possess an innate desire for creating thoughtful interiors and can masterfully layer color, texture, and pattern, to blend the traditional with the unexpected.

I utilize my extensive travel experience, my love of natural materials and textures, and my foundation in architectural design to create one-of-a-kind spaces that are sophisticated yet approachable. I believe that creativity, collaboration, and communication are vital to the success of any team, and I love the challenges that arise in the ever-evolving design world.

I graduated from Texas State with a B.S. in Interior Design with minors in Art and Technology. As Design Manager for @partnersinbuild, I am lucky to lead our team of talented designers and to oversee our Houston model home and showcase projects. I’ve been with Partners in Building for 18 years and get to work on some pretty amazing projects. Have I mentioned that I love what I do??
